What a busy first day of @ActiveFlag Active Week. We had tennis with Helen from Carlow Lawn Tennis Club and a wonderful gymnastics display by Mona's Fit Club. Our own teachers facilitated basketball, yoga, circuits and badminton. Looking forward to another great day tomorrow!

The girls in 4th and 5th Classes have had great fun with these #STEM kids from @CalmastWIT @itcarlow and @EngineerIreland . The girls learned about the history, technology and engineering of lighthouses and then made an electrical circuit to power their own lighthouses. Fantastic!

A very big well done to Tia, Sonia, Lauryn, Natalia, Laine, Lua and Gabriella in Ms. Mullins' 5th Class for these brilliant projects on the 1916 Easter Rising. This was a huge event on the road to Irish Independence in 1922 and the girls have learned a lot about it recently.
