Exposed carcasses don’t form fossils. To form a fossil, the creature must be buried quickly in water-born sediment. If we find fossils all over the world (even mountain tops) in most layers, the best explanation is the global flood as described in Gen 6-9 & Isa 54:9 & 1Pet3:20
