Sorry everyone. The BBC have pulled tonight’s edition of #HIGNFY - no, we didn’t book Danny Baker. We booked Heidi Allen, a member of a party no-one knows the name of (not even the people in it), because the Euro elections, which nobody wants, may or may not be happening. Sorry.

@EssexHebridean @haveigotnews That’s a fair point. I would counter though that neither the Lib Dems, Greens or other non-participating parties had a voice on BBCQT last night either. Where do you draw the line? She wasn’t on the show to promote her party manifesto.

@haveigotnews #HIGNFY is the last place for an MP to make a campaign stand. It’s where they go to get lampooned at their own and their party’s risk but I can see the rationale behind the decision. I just disagree with it.
