My friend owns an art gallery in Toronto and yesterday these started arriving. They were actually for the owner of a salon above her and by the time the delivery was done it was 1,000 long stem roses from the salon owner’s boyfriend. A THOUSAND. 🌹
So proud of my eldest son as they won their second tournament game this time in Ottawa at my alma mater Carleton University. Best for him he was named Player of the Game. 🏉 ❤️
Today I celebrate 4 years in the greatest role I've ever been fortunate to hold
@LifeSciencesON
as its Director, Member Engagement & Business Development. Thank you to the Board & staff who believed in me and most of all our community for your support. To 4 more and beyond.
As a parent and as a follower of
@NickMayerik
and his son Eddie’s journey this is heartbreaking. He (the family) inspired many and we’ll miss his bright smile.

Proud Dad Moment: My eldest went from this tiny little cherub to a teenager who just passed her first stage en route to her driver's licence today.

Couldn’t celebrate
#InternationalWomansDay2023
without honouring my Baby Girl and now young lady with this treasured memory. Sometimes to keep her on her toes I tell her she’s my favourite daughter. :) Lol
Just did my best Sean Connery imitation from "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". Kids said it was the best they'd ever hear. They also have no idea who Sean Connery is. :)
For me the
#1
benefit of
#AFPCongress2019
are the people that you meet & the stories behind them thanks to
@afptoronto
. Met a refugee from Afghanistan yesterday who now does major gifts for an international aid organization. Putting his lens on philanthropy was impactful for sure
How is it that women make up 70% of the charitable workforce but only 30% of senior Fundraising positions? We need radical change agents as per Tycely Williams.

One of my all-time favourite books I used to read to the kids and included a passage in my eulogy to my late Mom. ❤️ The story behind the book is heart wrenching.
Am excited for her, but am beginning to get a pit in my stomach as my teenaged daughter flies by herself for the first time this coming New Year’s Day heading to the US to meet up with friends. Wasn’t it just yesterday she came home from the hospital?
Spent time running errands with my first born (by 2 minutes) this morning. Nothing clears up a cloudy day or makes a sunny one brighter than this smile. :) xo
Sometimes the worst day on X/Twitter/Twinkle is seeing so many fur babies cross over the Rainbow Bridge from friends and strangers alike. It is only tempered by knowing how much they were loved for the time they were here and will be until they are met again. 🐾 ❤️
