Home. What a weekend, has gone so fast. Must have spent a minimum of 16 hours in the Skydome ice rink. It's been good fun but also hard work, trying to get all the correct information of 4 games & 2 of them on 2 accounts. I really hope everyone had a great weekend & lots of fun.

Not sure on the level of hockey updates this weekend as been in hospital with my little girl for 3 days. Will be following & posting stuff in quiet periods but at time may not be available. The plan was to be at both MKL v Raiders games but at present may be at 0, 1 or 2 games.

About to make the short trip up the A1 to Peterborough. It will be the 61st Twitter game updates out of 62 Raiders games this season. Being sick stopped it being 62 out of 62. 😞 I managed the whole season last year, so I guess 1 game in 2 years with no updates isn't bad. 🏒😀

Totally agree with @jordan_lawday33 I don't mind an extra import in the league but shouldn't be a netminder. We have a lot of good British 🇬🇧 Netminders and some potential young guys coming through. Let them play.

Allowing import goalies in the national league won’t do anything but stunt the development of our goalies we have working their way up. Give it a few years and we will be asking to have import goalies play for the national team 🙄💔. Let the brit goalies play 🏒.

Been trying to bite my lip, but all I will say is why do a very small amount of people want to ruin things for the majority. Also, I wish people would not generalise and blame a whole group of people when just 1 or 2 are to blame, especially when most of the people do a good job.

Leeds Knights go back to the top of the NIHL National League, equal on points with MK Lightning and Hull Seahawks. Hull with a game in hand Bristol Pitbulls go to the bottom of the table, with Solway Sharks getting a 4 point weekend. (Table thanks to @NIHLStats )

Well done to Seahawks, Knights, Wildcats, Steeldogs & Tigers on wins today in the league. Knights finish 10 points clear of MKL in 2nd. Unfortunately Bees, Pitbulls & Seahawks don't make the playoffs. Additions of Hull Seahawks & Bristol Pitbulls to the league have been great.

I think Hull is in for some fun hockey this season after seeing them live at Peterborough & MK, both times winning from behind. Matty Davies has put together a good team and all 3 imports look good. Svec we know puts up points but Young can score & Bartholomew is good on defence.

Definitely one of the best if not the best game of the Spring Cup. Raiders 0-3 down to Tigers in the 2nd. Then getting the equalising goal at 59.10 and then winning in overtime 6-5 Congratulations to @Raiders_IHC 🔶🔷 on the win. Well done to Ben Solder on Man of the match.

Different people deal with things differently. I don't think anyone should be made to play but some people deal with mourning and grief by doing something while others take time out. However you cope, I hope everyone will be ok, stay safe and take care of themselves.

I feel some communication needs to be made, either way. At least then everyone knows the situation. Don't want officials, teams and fans to start traveling and find games postponed after they have left. Teams also need to know they will not be penalised for postponing as well.

I'd strongly encourage the association at this time to make a decision and announcement on the playing or postponement of games under the association's remit today, at all levels.

What a night of hockey in the NIHL National. 2 games go to shootouts, 1 overtime, and the other 2 games were also close. MK Lightning go to the top of the league for now by a point over Knights. Congratulations to Raiders, Lightning, Pitbulls, Tigers & Wildcats on wins tonight.
