With great sadness we report the passing of K9 Karlo. Karlo had gone in for a teeth cleaning and had an allergic reaction to the anesthesia. Everything was done to save Karlo but he did not survive. We are very thankful for Karlo. Our hearts are with his handler, Lt. Splawn.

**Creekview Elementary School** Parents, if you’ve heard or saw our emergency vehicles at the school this morning, we responded to a fire alarm. Smoke was seen and the children were evacuated. The source was a HVAC unit that overheated. All kids are back inside safe and sound.

Lifeguards spotted a swimmer in distress and immediately sprang into action pulling the subject out of the pool and administering CPR. Our public safety team provided additional aid until EMS arrived to transport the victim to the hospital where he is recovering.

GADOT has lowered the speed limit for both the northbound and southbound lanes on GA400 from 65 mph to 55 mph. This reduction begins at Haynes Bridge Rd and extends north of the city limits. New speed limit signs have been posted.
