Which journalist will ask Klopp for his views on where the officials got 8 minutes of 2nd half injury time from, to allow his team to score in the 9th minute of time added on?
Dear those who are upset that
@ManCity
dared to dine at the top table of football, and now sit at the head of it. In 1999-2000, the 8th season of the Premier League, Manchester United secured their 6th Premiership title. Was it declared boring? Was it declared non-competitive?
The Premier League was boring before Manchester City tore up United’s dominance, and became the greatest team the league has ever seen. You’d think that people would be grateful.
Newcastle’s billionaire owners can’t spend their own money as they see fit; but status quo and / or history clubs can plunder their club for any spoils that they would like to pick up. FFP guys. Protect the status quo.
If City win everything, they are destroying the competition; if City don’t win everything, it’s unacceptable given the money they’ve spent, and questions must be asked. What should City do? 🤷♂️
.
@ManCity
‘s “£60m reject” is the PL’s greatest ever midfielder.
@PhilFoden
, England’s best footballer, apparently signed a contract to sit another 6 years on the bench, and it was claimed that Charlie Adam could be the best signing of the summer that Aguero signed for City.…
Manchester City are now “guilty” because the legal process in relation to charges against them is taking longer than the social media world has decided it should do. And longer than when entirely different charges are brought against various other clubs.
Exhausted. Injury problems (including a world-class star just prior to kick-off) and the opposition fresh from 9 days rest. Facing the biggest club in the world in their backyard, against a backdrop of 80,000 loyal fans urging them on.
@ManCity
fought with pride, honour and great…
I’ve just read that this season is the tightest battle for the Premier League title in years. I’m confused. I thought that City had ruined football, and were dominating things. So much so, that it had, apparently become boring…🤷♂️
Look at Pep. The greatest of his era. Don’t underestimate how phenomenal it is from
@ManCity
to win here after the hurt of the midweek defeat in the Champions League. Sensational. Another final here we come. FT 1-0

If City will never be as “massive” and “super duper” as “legacy” club Manchester United,
@Sjopinion10
, why are United trying to copy everything City do? City are “huge!”
IF SKY’s fanboy football experts cannot be neutral and objective. Wouldn’t it be more appropriate for them to appear on their own club channels and media outlets, rather than one which charges vast sums of money for people who want to watch and enjoy their own team, from a…
Grown up people are genuinely fuming that the “wrong” football club are the biggest and best in Europe. They once dared to dine at the top table of football - that, in itself, was bad enough. But now,
@ManCity
sit, proudly at the head of the top table of football, commercially…
City fans. We must prepare ourselves for an outpouring of wild allegations, pontification without proof, and expert political, legal and financial knowledge / expertise poured upon us, as an FFP hearing date comes upon us. Some, who still value the presumption of innocence, may…
Arsenal, arguably, dropped out of the title race today. Showed that they don’t have the confidence to go to a main rival and even try to win - given City’s injury problems, and form, that was weak. Liverpool fear no-one. And often, the brave reap the rewards.
Getting Rodri and Kovacic playing together, with Foden, KDB and Haaland in the same team, is game-changing for
@ManCity
. Rodri is the most incredibly complete midfielder.
If you think that City are boring to watch play football, your qualm is not with the best team in the land and all the world. It’s with those teams who put 10 men behind the ball for 90 minutes (plus extra time).
Goalkeepers are well protected. Unless it’s City. It’s fair game to slide in, and kick in the face, if the best team in the land & all the world are concerned.
The Premier League should be grateful for Manchester City. Whether it’s providing the best manager of his era, incredible football, smashing all previous records, or involvement in the most exciting season finishes that the league’s seen. Best team in the land & all the world 💙
@MiguelDelaney
When was it competitive? 80s? 90s? There are cycles of success. City are in one. And they have the greatest manager, and coach, of his era. To do what he has done, and with such little spend, is incredible.
@AliceTalksFooty
Man City group CEO has gone nowhere. City Football Group’s Chief Football Operations Officer has decided to take a role promotion, and join a club as CEO. Facts are so important.
@talkSPORT
Manufactured Manchester City won their first FA Cup in 1903-04; 5 years before Manchester United, 26 years before Arsenal and 61 years before Liverpool. Manufactured Manchester City have the highest English club attendance (outside Wembley) of 84,569. Manufactured Manchester City…
Pep Guardiola, the greatest coach in the world, plays Stones in midfield, from time to time. Will you be doing the same, Mr Southgate? If you can’t recognise, and man-manage, the brilliant Phil Foden, a generational English talent, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
How do people watch United and Chelsea spend untold wealth, before their very eyes, and still claim, glibly, that City’s success is built, solely, on spending? It’s a factor, of course. As it has been for every club that has attained long-term success. Just be honest. You don’t…

I’ve just watched
@ManCity
‘s 3rd goal, from the weekend’s 0-3 derby at OT, again. It’s incredible what you miss, whilst watching, always a little stressed, first time around. How many passes? Foden, Alvarez, Bernardo, Gvardiol et al. The movement, and ability to control a…
Friday night 8pm kick-off. Logistical and economic difficulties. City took 9,000 fans down to London to watch an FA Cup early round fixture.
@ManCity
, best fans in the land and all the world 👏 👏.
Liverpool may have been embarrassed at home to Atalanta last night in the Europa League. But their embarrassment means more than when any other club feels the same, after a very poor defeat. It’s just different.
Haaland is a winner, who, in the heat of the moment, was understandably upset by a ridiculous and inexplicable decision on a football field. Hopefully, the attempts to deflect from the said howler decision, and any attempts to assassinate his good character and, perhaps, succeed,…
The starting point for Manchester United is to move away from this position of entitlement, (“we’re Man United,”) and where they think they should be. This is a club who have had two great managers, two great periods of football history, punctuated by mediocrity. No club has a…
We’ve all been missing the point. If Manchester City are the victims of a howler decision from officials, they should have points deducted, and players banned for multiple games. If others, for example, Liverpool and Arsenal are victims, the match should be replayed. Two-tier…
The year is 2035. Manchester City win their 7th Champions League crown, to add to their vast array of domestic league and cup titles. They play amazing football under a brilliant coach. No-one cares. The rivalry between United and Arsenal is stronger. Always will be, and we’re…
Just imagine, if you would, for a second. Given the money spent and status of the clubs, how the media would portray Manchester City, if they were remotely entering the embarrassing territory that Chelsea and Manchester United have, and continue to do.
Tell me that your team were humiliated at home in the 2nd tier European competition without telling me that your team were humiliated at home in the 2nd tier European competition.
#Haaland
is the best goal scorer in world football, but does that make him one of best players in world football 🤔
He needs to do more against the elite defenders, starting Wednesday

I don’t know Declan Rice’s girlfriend. But if she wants to have a social media presence on any platform that I use, I would 100% follow, and support her. Why should she be forced away, if she wants to post? Bullies are the lowest of the low. Hope she’s ok.
@madridfooty_
I may be wrong. But I suspect that the standard of the Europa Conference League and the Europa League is somewhat below that of the Champions League.
A Wolves player who scored the winner today should have been sent off. We
@ManCity
don’t need inconsequential apologies. We should have won ourselves. The treble winners will dust ourselves off and try and win the next one. That’s life.
Klopp is a fine football manager. You could be forgiven for thinking that he had won 16 trophies since joining a small, plastic club in 2016, transforming a country’s style of football, smashing records, winning doubles, trebles, having 100 point seasons et al.
@FabrizioRomano
Sums up why he is doing well, and so called “big names” before him failed. They felt they were doing the club, players and fans a favour by being there. Ange is grateful for a fantastic opportunity, and wants himself, and the players to grab it with both hands. Top man.
@PLCPolice
Football was extremely competitive before City was it? During Arsenal’s domination in the 30s? Liverpool’s in the 70s/80s? Or United in the 90s/00s? Just be honest. The “wrong” team got the right investment, and have run themselves superbly well. That’s the reality. And it’s…
We often hear the argument that Premier League football is boring because Manchester City dominate. Yet, domination has been a facet of English football since I began watching in the 80s. First, Liverpool, then United. Now, it’s City. It’s cyclical. Enjoy the ride, folks.
@markgoldbridge
What you’re doing is seeking attention. Saying the most ridiculous things that you can, to garner attention and clicks. Tabloid-style “content” at its finest. Personally, I prefer genuine insight.
