Very disappointed with this from @Education_Ire - sends a message that SEN resources are there to plug holes - this fails students who more than ever need support but also sets a worrying precedent. COVID-19 measures require COVID-19 resources not those of vulnerable students

This is hurtful. Imagine being an autistic student in class whilst this depiction of autism was taught. Discriminatory attitudes are taught. Publications like this do so. @AsIAmIreland has received complaints and we have written to publisher to ask them to take action

That their constitutional right to an appropriate education is somehow suspended. That the challenges and failures of last year are to be repeated. We must acknowledge that this is a high-risk strategy which does seriously impact on long term quality of life

. @Education_Ire should direct @ncseirl to create a central database of children who aren’t in an appropriate school place including those out of school, in places not aligned to the recommendations in their psych report, those learning at home or simply not attending.

This is the house burned down in Galway that was meant to be a home for a Mincéir family, comments under news articles calling the arsonists 'Heroes', "Not all heroes wear capes says one person with another saying "Pity the Travellers weren't in there". No racism in Ireland eh?

Shocked by the way @CatholicPrimary refer to Autistic people in their letter on trans rights in education. Ignores experiences of Autistic trans people, using their presence as a means to discredit. Autistic people face enough barriers to bodily autonomy. Education needed here!
