If an athlete doesn’t have injury history, throws hard but has “terrible” mechanics don’t touch him. Chances are you’re just going to make him worse. Throwing isn’t about looking aesthetically pleasing. It’s about producing force efficiently. Sometimes it’s not a 1:1 thing.

@AaronRozek And most that might say he has “terrible” mechanics shouldn’t be assessing them. If a kid threw firm for his age and was pain free, I’d get a motus sleeve on asap to see that stress window though…👀👀

@AaronRozek The harder someone throws the less wiggle room for mechanical tweaks there is available. Split testing is absolutely key for 90+ in my opinion if you are going to change something.
