Blood & Cheese fucking sucked. That whole scene had no emotional impact, I was bored the entire time.
You'd think they'd learn from Game Of Thrones, not to cut the best lines, but apparently HBO prefers idiots to be showrunners.
So far, Season Two Of HoTD isn't worth watching.
I didn’t expect to learn that HP Lovecraft was a better person than JK Rowling:
One of H.P. Lovecraft's more rare and popular letters as well as one of his last, was where he was speaking about how stupid and foolish he was for his earlier racist and reactionary views.
How come there are no black elves? Black people are some of the most hardcore fans of fantasy, sci-fi, anime, comics, etc. Yet they are seriously underrepresented in those genres. Dragons are cool, but couldn't they invent main characters that are a bit more melanated?
In the fantasy I'm writing, I want things to be more diverse than the typical European standard.
So what if something catastrophic happened to the old world, and races from various nations had to flee across the sea, to a single new continent?
See how easy diversifying can be?

Since George R R Martin can take Wyverns and make them Dragons for GoT and ASOIAF. Then if I add Dragons to my fantasy series. Then I'm going to make them flying modified T-Rexes. Now I just need to figure out if I add feathers or not.
For the record this isn't a pro-Lovecraft post, it's an anti-Rowling post.
And any redemption he seemingly gained at the end, doesn't necessarily clean his record or absolve him.
But it's never too late to admit wrongdoings, or to realize bigotry and all that hold it are evil.
Conservatives:
You snowflakes are easily triggered. But I can't wear a mask. I don't want to. It's too uncomfortable. I can't breath. It looks stupid. It's tyranny. Covid is a hoax. How dare you! *Sobs in right-wing stupidity*
Me, in public not being a little bitch:
@cryptohippiema
I love how casting black people is considered both woke and a bad thing, by bigoted trash.
It's not going to end, you may as well stop crying, grow up, and get used to it. We've all seen this reaction before.
The toxic fandom of conservative incels are crying that the new Alien™ series is "going woke."
Do they not realize it always revolved around Leftist and Feminist symbolism?
Chestburster's represent anti-abortion laws, & the feeling of having something unwanted inside you. Etc.
This is why I don't understand how someone can like geek and nerd culture and also be a right-wing bigot.
How can you enjoy any of this stuff and not be a leftist?
Talk about cognitive dissonance, in all these stories you are the bad guy.
Hearing all those bigots cry, because black people were cast to play the Velaryons, in House Of The Dragon was fun.
I always enjoy it, when nice things ruin their day.
But watching black fans of Game Of Thrones, get so excited to see more black characters in the show, is just:
It's weird. People know in time travel, any little change to the past will drastically alter history.
But they also act like any small action done in the present couldn't possibly effect the future in any way, shape, or form.
You matter and can change the world. Keep fighting.
The same "totally not racist" conservatives that were outraged that Spider-Man, a Stormtrooper, Dwarves, and Elves could be black... Are now upset that a Time Lord can be black. I'm sensing a pattern here. Like what exactly do you think the Doctor's opinion on this would be? lol
@notgxku
In all honesty, all the BS aside, it doesn't even look like that fun of a game. And I just think it's weird that people would even want to play it considering Professor Fig dies at the end anyway. lol
Them: "Aren't you leftists supposed to be tolerant?"
Me, having witnessed bigots advocating for genocide, tearing families apart, brutalizing children, stripping people of their basic human rights, attacking minorities, turning various groups into second-class citizens, etc:
One of my favorite things to read about, in fantasy or otherwise. Is seeing now extinct creatures from our world, still existing in another. If done correctly, it can seriously enhance any story.

Where I will eventually be uploading audiobooks and animations of stories I've written.
As well as reviews of stories written by others, and anything else I can think of.
People love the stories in books, movies, comics, and TV Shows.
But I feel they don't give the stories from Video Games nowhere near enough credit that they deserve.
Here are a few games that I use for writing inspiration.
When Arya and Jaime were both in a race to get to Cersei, I thought, ok it's now a clash of fan theories.
Does Arya meet up with Jaime, steal his face then kill Cersei.
Or does Jaime get there first and just start choking her for causing all of this destruction?
Nope, bricks.
20 year-old Native American woman, Brittney Poolaw, was convicted by an Oklahoma jury of manslaughter for the death of her 17-week-old, nonviable fetus. She faces four years in prison for a miscarriage she suffered less than halfway through her pregnancy.
Jurassic Park is so feminist.
The little girl is a hacker, the main woman is smart, capable, and doesn't dress like her outfit was picked by a guy.
Jeff Goldblum is the one whose shirt is sexily open, in a modeling pose.
And all the dinosaurs are girls.
#StrongFemaleRoleModels
The Lord Of The Rings is how history is presented to you in elementary school.
A Song Of Ice And Fire is how history is presented to you in high school.
This adds to the character of Obi-Wan and takes nothing away from him or the story.
So naturally it's time the "never offended" conservative incels have a major meltdown over such a non-issue. lol
@thedragonLML
There's few differences between Aegon II and Joffrey. The greens are desperately grasping at straws, looking for anything to validate their treason. It's not working.
Is Brienne of Tarth trans? "I was my father's only s—child." Jaime chuckled. "Son, you meant to say. Does he think of you as a son?"
Also, Catelyn notes that Dacey and Lady Maege seemed more comfortable, both as warriors and as women, than ever the girl from Tarth had been.
Stannis Baratheon is the one true king of Westeros.
!⃝ 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗱 by the whole of the realm, from Dorne to the wall. Old men dispute it with their death rattle, and unborn children dispute it in their mothers' wombs.
What are your top 10 favorite lesser known anime? (In no particular order)
1. Bastard
2. Claymore
3. Ronin Warriors
4. When They Cry - Higurashi.
5. Ninja Scroll
6. Blade Of The Immortal
7. Gokusen
8. Kekkaishi
9. Nura: Rise Of The Yokai Clan
10. The Getbackers
I'd like some concept art done for a few of the characters in my stories.
If any of you know an artist looking to do a commission, that can draw in an anime style, send them my way.
Or if you are such an artist, hit me up, show me some of your work, and name your price.
Conservatives seriously can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality.
Probably a side effect of being grown ass adults that still have imaginary friends and still believe in bronze age fairytales.
Apparently the bible is true, and vampires, and Dragons exist. lol
The intolerant christian character isn't even a cliché at this point, just art imitating life.
If they are good, Hollywood is making them woke. If they are bad, Hollywood is villainizing them.
For once I'd like to see a bible-reading preacher IRL that was loving and kind.
I do think there is an anti-Christian bias in Hollywood. As soon as the David character in “The Last of Us”
started reading from the Bible I knew that he was going to be a horrific villain. Could there be a Bible-reading preacher on a show who is actually loving and kind?
Trying to summarize that vibe into a quick note before you forget, only to return a week later and nothing makes sense.
Just put "He lives on the moon, but keeps his shoes in the refrigerator sometimes" I'll know what it means.
Well, I don't as it turns out.
Don't bigots understand graves hold clues, and that trans people will exist in the future?
In ancient cultures, some "biological men" were buried dressed as and put in feminine poses, etc.
LGBTQ+ hatred wasn't as common in the ancient world. It's more recent spread by the west.
Winter horror I'd recommend for this X-mas:
Tales From The Darkside: s3e11 - Seasons Of Belief
Tales From The Crypt: s1e2 - And All Through the House
Fortress (1985)
Let Me In (2010)
The Thing (1982)
Frozen (2010)
Gremlins (1984)
30 Days Of Night (2007)
The Shining (1980)
You'll notice that he isn't crying over the fact that black people were cast in
#HOTD
. I guess that's something only bigoted trash waste time doing. lol
For the record I don't understand all the "it's too dark" complaints for some episodes of Game Of Thrones and House Of The Dragon. It always shows up perfectly clear for me.
In all honesty if they didn't have to stretch this Godzilla vs Kong fight out for 90 minutes, Godzilla would kill Kong in 3 seconds. And we all know it.
Aegon II:
*Furiously masterbates, completely nude, out an open window. (Probably thinking about a pig)*
The Greens:
"I would follow that man into all Seven Hells!"
Ok readers... What's the scariest book or short story you've ever read?
Mine is probably Pet Sematary by Stephen King. (A bit cliche, I know)
Send me recommendations!
@AkkadSecretary
Paying those that attack marginalized groups, just to play a game, only to put up pride flags everywhere, sums up the character of liberals very well. "I'm totally an ally, but only when it's convenient for me."
Oh please, let this happen!
It would be so funny if J.K. Rowling at least had the movie rights fully taken from her. It's not enough but it's a start.
I'd almost start believing there actually was a god. Well, no, not really, but you get my point. lol
Just want to promote the YouTube Channel "Strictly Fantasy"
I first discovered them because they are one of the few people out there, still discussing the long dormant "Legacy Of Kain" Video Game series. A story unparalleled.
Question.
I'm writing a robot character in a Scifi story, and I thought it would be inclusive and funny if at one point the robot said "My cpu (coding?) may be binary, but I'm not."
I know nothing about computers, so how exactly should I phrase this? Or is this close enough?
Just saw a trailer for a movie called "The Woman King" and she's black. Conservative heads will explode... Again.
They'll be crying "wokeness has gone too far" even though it's based on true events in Africa.
It's not like a woman king hasn't happened in a movie before either.
Here lately I randomly have dreams where I spend most of my time writing.
I keep coming up with great ideas, characters, dialogue and plot points.
Only to wake up, barely remembering one or two things, if any at all. This is really getting on my nerves.
In the conflict between the Blacks and the Greens, if you ever find yourself wondering if you're on the wrong side, just remember that these two would stand with the Greens.
