@realDonaldTrump
No matter how many times Trump shouts about a rigged or fraudulent election, there is absolutely no proof of voter fraud. Remember -Trump lied over 20k times during his term, this is just one more lie. We won't have to hear them, soon.
@realDonaldTrump
What's bad for America is a president who is terrified of being indicted after he's ousted, undermining American democracy. You were happy with the system in 2016 but now you think you're going to lose, you don't like it..
@realDonaldTrump
If Trump was so worried about rigged elections & voting machines, why didn't he, as president, make every effort, over the last 4 years, to ensure the security of the election? He accepted the result in 2016 & had no reason to raise doubts until he lost in 2020. C'mon!
@stayceespeaks
As a Brit I hope that Biden wins by a landslide, I'm confident in American democracy. I think that even McConnell will stand by the election result. Bravado right now is easy but once Trump's extreme supporters realize that there is no appetite for rebellion, they will fade away.
@realDonaldTrump
Don't get side-tracked by Pumpkin Head trying to divert attention from his reckless, irresponsible presidency. Joe will trounce Trump on Tuesday & America will remember Trump's division, racism & sexism in November
America needs a president who is optimistic, fair, creates opportunities for everyone & loves his country, not someone who hates half of Americans, insults & mocks opponents & asks energy executives to pay him $1billion to reduce climate measures.
Vote for Joe.
@BidenHQ
During their debate, Joe has got to confront Trump about why he ordered the GoP to oppose the bilateral border bill just to help his campaign.
@RBReich
The Republican party is proving, once again, that they can't be trusted. They are self-serving hypocrites who have no honour & don''t deserve to be elected to represent the people of America. Many people had little respect for politicians anyway, now there will be none.
@dvillella
@realDonaldTrump
Freedom & democracy are fragile. A president who doesn't respect the democratic election process & lies about the result damages the entire country. By influencing his supporters against the result, Trump is committing a form of treachery.
@mojos55
@RogWard
I need to register my single-person consulting company in the Cayman Islands, then, to avoid IR35, which ensures that I pay full taxes at source despite not getting paid leave, sick pay, or a pension. The Tories bring in these laws knowing they can avoid them.
Why do some politicians think that they should be treated differently (better) than ordinary Americans when they are being investigated by law enforcement agencies & bleat about it online?
Yesterday our beloved Labrador, Poppy, was put to sleep.
Poppy brought us great love, happiness, & loyalty for nearly 16 years; we love her & will miss her so, so much.
@williamlegate
Exactly! Republicans approach should be "I don't want Trump to be guilty but I will find out the truth and if he is guilty, for the sake of the country, he will be indicted/impeached.
@emptywheel
@Friendscallme_T
This is laughable.
People might not vote for him if he's found guilty.
Duh, really?
So, it's ok if a potential criminal becomes president. Adds weight to the suspicion that the only reason he's running is to avoid justice,
@kurteichenwald
Right-wingers in the US deride the UK's "socialist" National Health Service which is free to all, apart from some nominal charges. It's not perfect & has its faults but I am so grateful for the NHS & the magnificent health workers in the UK.
@OccupyDemocrats
Trump is "not an ‘I’m passing the hat’ man, according to a source in his circle.
Really?
Why is he appealing to his MAGA suckers for money, then?
@TeamTrump
@realDonaldTrump
Biden's plans are to promote alternative energy which is be better for the planet and will provide job & investment opportunities.
Pro-Trump supporters in Washington have been clashing with police but there has been no effort by Trump to condemn or calm the violence. Anyone surprised?
Everything that Trump has been doing since the election proves that America was right to oust him. He has no respect for democracy. Just think what he would have done if he had another 4 years in power.
The more the Republicans argue that Trump's tax returns and the Mueller Report can't be published, the more I think that they're scared to death about what they will reveal. For the sake of transparency and justice they must be released to the American people.
@AmoneyResists
@luvman33wife
If this is true, it proves that Chump & the GOP are so afraid of losing elections that they have to resort to cheating, using procedural loopholes to gain an advantage.
It follows a pattern of gerrymandering & other tactics to avoid the truth that their popularity is dropping.
@oregon_report
@Sen_JoeManchin
The world will be dead if we continue the dependency on fossil fuels instead of finding sustainable alternatives.
Manchin's self-serving statements must be ignored.
@joncoopertweets
Trump's got to make a big decision. Does he risk losing again? He was hoping for the mid-terms to show that voters want him & his candidates. He's had a bit of a wake-up call.
If an employee commits a serious crime, fraud for example, against a company, is caught & indicted, & the company sacks the employee, the indictments aren't dismissed because the employee no longer works at the company. The same goes for Trump. He committed crimes during his term
The SCOTUS decision should encourage everyone to vote for representatives who are in favor of allowing abortion. Vote out the right-wing & religious candidates who are in favor of restricting women's rights. Yesterday's decision is the thin edge of the wedge.
We lost our beloved labrador, Poppy, at the end of December. Yesterday my son & wife gave me a beautiful picture of her. Tears, happiness & gratitude in equal measure. What do you think?
@TrefoilArabella
@stayceespeaks
We in the UK aren't any better. We've elected a comedy buffoon as our prime minister and we've left the European Union (Brexit) because of right-wing xenophobes. Now it looks like we may not even have a treaty with the EU which will be disastrous.
Remember that all your mutual followers are likely to vote for Joe in November.
The hard work is to persuade the undecided voters & those who don't want to vote at all to vote blue.
Everyone must work to get as many votes for Joe as you can - especially in swing states.
TFG issued a rallying call to Republicans to use the upcoming debt ceiling as leverage to “get back almost everything McConnell gave up to the Radical Left”.
That's a joke from TFG who avoids contributing to Federal funds by avoiding paying taxes (like many mega-rich Americans).
@BleuLimousine
@shurtis123
Trump knows how do play the system.
It hasn't helped that Fani Willis gave him an opportunity to exploit.
Other prosecutors need to ensure that everything is locked tight so Trump has no other excuses to delay.
BREAKING: Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis’ re-election chances are put in major jeopardy as a new poll of Florida voters shows that he’s losing to Democrat Charlie Crist, who is at 48% of the vote compared to DeSantis’ 47%. RT IF YOU HOPE THAT DESANTIS LOSES IN NOVEMBER!
The GOP states that the left-wing is a threat to democracy in the US & elsewhere.
Events, though, prove otherwise: Right-wing supporters attacking Congress in Brazil & Washington because they can't accept the election results.
Where's the real threat?
I've been inconvenienced by the strikes in the UK, like most other people, but the workers are striking because they are struggling to cope financially.
On the other hand, the rich are getting richer.
There must be some levelling up - the rich need to contribute more.
As an observer from the UK, I really don't understand how people can't see that making guns harder to obtain & banning assault weapons in the U.S. would reduce the number of mass murders - whatever caused the perp to do it. Or am I being naive?
@DonaldJTrumpJr
Does Trump actually have any policies other than undoing everything that his Nemesis, President Obama, created? All his campaign does is spread alarm & insult people. Trump and his family will be ousted in November.
@realDonaldTrump
@SpeakerPelosi
Someone keeps deleting my tweets about an exchange between Sarah Sanders and “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace. So read for yourself:
Trump's supposed to be "freaking out" because polls indicate that he'll lose by a landslide. Don't take it for granted. Vote. Vote. Vote for Joe & humiliate Donnie.
Joe is being criticised for using note cards. It's sensible & keeps him on message unlike Trump's incoherent ramblings during which he often doesn't talk about the subject in hand. It's Trump who is senile & living in the past.
@travisakers
I expect that they all will, unfortunately, avoid prison which is a shame because the Trumps & people like them live such a life of luxury that the only way to teach them a lesson is to send them to jail & deprive them of their riches.
January 6th proved what most of us already knew: Whatever he says, TFG doesn't care about his supporters, America, or the law. All he thinks about is having his massive ego stroked.
He's a psychopathic ego-maniac.
@ukrainiansquad
I am so grateful for the efforts that Ukrainian forces are making to fight Putin's illegal invasion. You should be so proud. The world supports Ukraine against Psycho Putin. Stay strong & keep going. Victory will be yours.
Well done President Biden for leading the world response against Psycho Putin's invasion of Ukraine. There's no way that "It's all about me" Trump would have been able to get the world's leaders to act together to impose sanctions.
@realDonaldTrump
@SpeakerPelosi
I've been tweeting this to Donald Trump's Twitter account but someone (who, I wonder?) keeps deleting my tweets - 7 times so far! - about an exchange between Sarah Sanders and “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace so read for yourselves:
Trump says he'll have to be dragged from the WH 'kicking and screaming'. Can someone please make sure that the TV cameras are there to record it for posterity?
@ARmastrangelo
@realDonaldTrump
The results for each state were independently announced by all media outlets once it became impossible for the losing candidate to win - for states where Trump, as well as Biden, won. I think you'll find that the Trump campaign was happy with this where they won the vote.
@FrankMikeDavis1
TRumph lined his own pockets but he is going to be found out in the courts and will regret inviting the scrutiny on him since he first declared he was running for president.
@OccupyDemocrats
Trump meeting with oil executives at Mar-a-Lago and asking for $1 billion in campaign donations in return for cutting their taxes and slashing environmental regulations must be corruption, mustn't it?
@LoveTherapis1
Yes.
Last week there were restricted seats on a train and I was looking to see if there were any elderly people without a seat so I could offer mine.
Then I realised that I was one of them - it was a few days after my 60th birthday.
How time flies.
I'm a Brit. 4 years ago I watched from the UK, appalled as Trump became pres. I couldn't believe that such a monster could be elected by America, I joined the resistance. We knew that Trump's term would end in chaos. Mary Trump told us, too. America now has a chance to re-set.
Video proof of TFG's allies stating that the strategy would be to claim victory even if they lost shows that TFG was always going to try to usurp the election results. TFG is a clear & present danger to democracy.
@LouGarza86
In the UK we're further along the road to normality but, as an overweight 57-year old who is taking steroids & shielding I still don't trust the politicians who say it's ok to go out. I won't be happy until there's a vaccine.
Life after Trump is so good. I feel as though I was there was a toddler screaming in my face continuously for 4 years and now he's suddenly stopped. Ahh, the peace.
