Could not have had more fun this past weekend hosting @Top100Rick and friends at @theprairieclub Rick is a very gracious guest, he even let me beat him one or twice. Golf was great, but the comraderie was even better. Can't wait to do it again.

I lost my Dad 5 years ago today, miss him every day. Wish I could go back and spend more time with him, and have my kids know him better. He wasn't an outwardly emotional person, but I know he loved us and was proud of all his grandchildren.

Started the day having not made a bogey for 32 holes, parred the first 9 before bogeying 10. 41 holes without a bogey has to be at least double my previous best. Need to keep it going this weekend in the club championship.

Played an early morning round today before work. Might have been my best ever ball striking round. Hit 17 greens (missed one by 2 feet, still putted). Bogey free 67 (-5), even though my putting was average at best. Golf is fun when you strike it well!!

Fun night of golf last night with @BradlyLoughren and @Golfer_Jake_78 . I played pretty well, tying my 2nd lowest score ever of 63 (-5). Still got beat by @BradlyLoughren though, who birdied the last for 62!!! Looking forward to the Club Championship this weekend, should be fun.

Pacific Springs in Omaha was an enjoyable experience yesterday. Short course (6000 yards, par 70), but still was a fun layout. Shot 71, with 3 bogeys and 2 birdies. Pretty happy for first time out.

Last minute 2 day golf trip to Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena. 2 rounds at the North, 1 at the South and 1 at the General. Not a bad way to end the year. Friday/Saturday this week. Not quite as good as Prairie Dunes, but hopefully next year I can make that happen.

Successful State Qualifying meet for Shane tonight. Won the 3200 and 1600, anchored the distance medley to 2nd. Qualified for State in all 3 events. Great job by both the boys and girls teams tonight. @runmarion
