Just putting my thoughts out there... Solana has definitely improved in stability since '22 but I think Solana Labs, Foundation, etc should prioritize even more in depth stress testing of Testnet over things like Move, Solang, and more markety stuff if they can move resources.

Yeah, expect a slow mint with a lot of spamming if you're one of the ones who will be trying to mint. The compute units of these complex mint txns are very high so not that many will fit per block. Given parallelism though the best case is that everything else goes through fine.

In Summer '22, priority fees were introduced on top of the existing flat base fee which meant that fee markets had arrived. Landing a txn was no longer just about latency & spamming during congestion, but priority fees became important for block inclusion & txn queue ordering.

Is it possible for Solana to have IBC support without any core changes? If not, what is needed? And what makes something part of Cosmos? Does it just need to be connected via IBC or does it need to use Atom somehow?

@lex_node How can you say "not care about censorship resistance" and be at all ok with small sequencer sets. Solana offers some of the best real time censorship resistance in Web3. What other chains have ~2000 or more validator nodes in a quorum? Ethereum doesnt even have 4x more by

@spencernoon @solana @ournetwork__ Probably too late now but @LightProtocol and @elusivprivacy are pretty huge for ZK privacy primitives on Solana. I'd also highly recommend @MarinadeFinance . They are the LST OG's of Solana Outside of that, DEPIN-wise, @teleportxyz @Hivemapper and @helium are big

This is why I wish the main solana explorer would separate vote "tps" from that of non votes. It's one of the more important things that can be done to shut down these views from persisting (see below).

Just FYI, Coinbase controls nearly 14% of Ethereum stake which is more than the known amount of FTX/Alameda controlled stake % on Solana.

For the Sandstorm Hackathon analytics track it would be cool to see: 1) some better tools that track and predict priority fee usage and needs (local hotspot and/or block-wide priority) 2) A reproducible bench test & experiment to study how effective priority fees currently are.
