Just incredible how this courtesy was never given to Arsenal last season when the whole country had us finishing 5th.
Neville and Carragher were doing hit pieces and talking about how we’re never getting this opportunity again, amazing how they love putting a ceiling on us.
Pep just said on Sky he learned this season you need proper defenders to win duels against Saka, Martinelli, Vinicius, Salah etc. Sounds like a bit of a indirect shot to Cancelo and Zinchenko lol.
It’s so obvious Chelsea are going to fluke the Champions League man. I can already see it, Pep’s hands on his bald head after Tucheliban plays 8 defenders and scores off a deflected shot.
Lukaku ending ten years of Juve dominance in his first season in Italy while United fans watch Martial’s first touch lead them to 6th. Couldn’t write a better script.
People were spot on when they said City got no rivals. Why the fuck are West Ham bothered about us? You’ve been irrelevant to us for the entirety of football history.
Arsenal now relying on Spurs & West Ham to do something against City.
The 2 teams their fanbase have abused all season. Fuck that club. Gladly hold 9 to City.
10 wins in the last 11, 4 goals conceded, 35 goals scored. What an unbelievable football team we are. Gotta enjoy these times even if this doesn’t end in what we all want.
City looked suspect when their fullback rotation was Walker/Cancelo/Lewis/Ake. Pep going to Akanji-Ake with Stones in a hybrid role transformed their season. It’s that type of problem solving that makes him the best.
Arsenal are the worst ‘Title Contenders’ I’ve ever seen. This collapse has been completely embarrassing. Ever since Xhaka pushed Trent, they’ve been woeful. Team of pretenders. This was their one chance, and they flopped. It won’t come again…
Trophies cover it up but apart from the academy Chelsea aren’t a well run club. For the money spent, they should be closer to City’s dominance yet they’ve not come close to the league in five years.
Chelsea paying £60m+ to sign Marc Cucurella is excessive.
Chelsea paying £60m+ to sign Marc Cucurella AND ensure Levi Colwill doesn’t depart permanently is very much not.
United/Chelsea spend billions without the pressure of winning a title. Arsenal/Liverpool do it once in their history and everyone is on their back.
Especially baffled seeing Sky act like top 4 is an achievement for Poch this yr. I’d fucking hope so after this spend.

discuss whether Erik ten Hag's side will challenge for the Premier League title this season...🔴
Nothing is likeable about City. Their fans will say it’s jealously, it’s seriously not. Stockpile talent, robotic football, 500 tactical fouls per game to get wins, bald twat in charge.
And they financially dope despite having a £1bn pound squad. Horrible irrelevant club.
@m_tactician
Yeah. Sky might post it later on but the question was about Ake’s impact. Pep said he was fundamental as he realised you need proper defenders who can win duels. Specifically mentioned Saka and Martinelli.
Sometimes it’s as simple as just playing forward really quickly. We pass less through the middle to make sure we don’t have any dangerous turnovers. Liverpool just don’t care and trust Van Dijk/Konate.
Uploaded the incredible period from the last night where we scored 3 goals in 6 mins and Özil just took over the game completely. Some unreal Martin Tyler commentary -
Matched Lewandowski stride for stride in the Bundesliga then only behind Salah for goals in his first two seasons in the worst Arsenal team in decades yet still delivered a trophy.
Just a world class goalscorer man, deserves more credit than he gets.
Ronaldo has been knocked out by Ajax, Lyon and Porto in his three years at Juve. But twitter keeps telling he wouldn’t let embarrassing defeats happen on his watch.
Very happy we won’t be having conversations about Arteta for three weeks. Scraped through yes but taken us to our first quarter final in 14 years and likely back to back 80 point seasons in 20 years.
We are relevant again and it is down to him.
Chelsea are a funny funny club. That is now Enzo, Gallagher, Carney, Adams, Andrey Santos, Casadei, Ugochuckwu + Lavia and apparently Caicedo competing for two spots.
All signed for a combined £350m. Their fans think this is a smart strategy.
Always funny seeing cuck fanbases like United, Spurs, Chelsea commenting on competing with City. You’ve spent billions more and can’t even get 10pts near them for several years, when will that mentality come to your club?
Arsenal really need to shift their mentality next season. Stop being grateful just to be taking part and realise you’re a good side that should be winning every game you play. Need to develop that ruthless winning mentality like City have.
We aren’t winning the title. Arteta has made the team more solid but now every big game is played on the margins and we don’t have the forwards for it.
Jesus, Nketiah, Havertz, Saka, Martinelli aren’t a good enough to win us games feeding off scraps.
Honestly Messi/Ronaldo debate isn’t even a thing on twitter anymore. I think everyone on here knows how one sided the argument is. It’s just a debate amongst casuals (which G Nev is).
Not sure how Chelsea fans have an attachment with that team. No manager will ever have a legacy there, don’t play attractive football, refuse to play youth and half their legends are twats, such a soulless club.
6 years without a trophy when you’ve spent more than anyone else in the country is unbelievably embarrassing. It’s genuinely the biggest failure by any European club.
@smhjaames
I think the Madrid ties last season left impact on Pep. He didn’t want a repeat, the way he answered the question you could tell he’s been thinking about matching up with direct wingers.
Btw Liverpool have done very well but this is shit Neville and Carragher were saying last ssn 🤣 not the logical narrative that the youngest squad and manager in the PL would improve but instead they’re bottlers and wasted their only chance.
✅ Liverpool
✅ Manchester United
❌ Arsenal
❌ Newcastle

predict which teams will compete for the title with Manchester City next season 🏆
He should be Arsenal’s number one target this window. Take on numbers off the charts, comfortable on left and right, good ball striking and he’s likely cheaper + more attainble than Pedro Neto.
Willian not even on the bench for Chelsea because he’s probably joining Arsenal in the summer. Meanwhile we started their technical director in a European final last year.
I’m convinced we can do something special this ssn. Only thing that will hold us back is injuries, already missing 4/11 starters one month in is crazy.
Don’t tell me this Madrid team might win the league and reach the CL final. How does Zidane do it man, they have crisis nearly every month and he somehow turns it around.
Possible fixtures
31 Mar Man City A
3 Apr Luton H
6 Apr Brighton A
9/10 Bayern H
13 Apr Villa H
16/17 Bayern A
23/24 Apr Chelsea H (prob)
27 Apr Spurs A
30 Apr/1 May Real/City (poss)
4 May Bou H
7/8 May Real/City (poss)
11 May Man Utd A
15 May Wolves A (prob)
19 May Everton H
Not sure what to say about Havertz. He’s played loads, in multiple positions, with every combination of LW/CF/LB, we gave him a free goal and then chanted his name non-stop. He’s fucking shit and is infuriating to watch.
Messi reaching the final twice out of four attempts is amazing. The two times he didn’t Argentina had clowns as coach actively sabotaging their chances.
It’s the worst PL result ever. When has a team 10 points ahead of the other been battered like this? Didn’t have a player sent off early and it wasn’t a young team.
@shadadzai
Academy players succeeding are the most likeable thing about a club and they’ve hounded out the best one they’ve produced in years. It’s mental to me, imagine Arsenal selling Saka two years down the line because he had one really bad yr.
Can’t watch football anymore if this Chelsea team win the Champions League man. They play about eight defenders every week with Werner up top and never lose.
31 goals + 7 assists in 37 games for Aubameyang this season. Whilst playing for two clubs in two different leagues, three managers and in several different systems. That’s crazy.
Look at how many diagonals get played to Salah, wonder why he doesn’t get doubled like Saka? Teams don’t have a chance when you reach him with one pass. I’ve said this couple times it’s almost like we want to play against a deep block.
Raheem Sterling and Joe Gomez have been involved in a bust-up in England training today.
The pair had to be separated by shocked team-mates following a physical confrontation, after 'banter' about Liverpool's 3-1 win over Manchester City got out of hand.

Arteta knows importance of winning duels. He’s been playing a centre back at right back for two seasons now. Zinchenko was a necessary signing as we don’t have a player who can play perform that hybrid role. Pep binned Cancelo and Zinny but still has Stones + Rico Lewis.
Havertz has had TWO shots on target in over 500 mins of football (one is a pen). Do you know how bad that is? His role is literally being a second striker in possession.
In comparison, Smith Rowe has had 4 shots on target in 100 mins. I don’t care if he can’t defend. Play him.
Not sure what to say about Havertz. He’s played loads, in multiple positions, with every combination of LW/CF/LB, we gave him a free goal and then chanted his name non-stop. He’s fucking shit and is infuriating to watch.
They kept saying Ronaldo wouldn’t let that happen but he’s let his team get pummelled by 5 at home and now failed to qualify for the World Cup in the last month alone…
Lukaku with 31 goals, 2nd place Serie A finish and European semi final in his debut season. But Martial scored more than 11 goals for the first time in 4 years so it doesn’t matter.
Lacazette goal vs Stoke being called offside, Richarlison dive against Bellerin, Silva offside goal, penalty v Chambers. Absolutely fucking ridiculous decisions, stuff that is the difference between top four. VAR can’t come soon enough.
Look at the player sales. Coutinho/Sterling/Suarez for record sales, Benteke/Sakho for £30m+. They’re a self sustaining club like us.
While Alexis, Ramsey, Wilshere, Welbeck are all leaving for nothing. That’s £100m+ right there. It’s not even about Kroenke.
They used to say their identity was “winning” btw which is not a real thing. A very plastic and soulless club who deserve every bit of what’s happening to them.
Lukaku, Werner, Havertz, Pulisic, Ziyech = £300m+. Can anyone say one of them has been a big success? They’d genuinely be better off keeping Tammy Abraham.
I HATE WHEN NEYMAR TAKES OVER
NEYMAR DRIBBLES TOO MUCH
NEYMAR ISNT CLUTCH
NEYMAR DOESNT EVEN KNOW HOW TO KEEP THE BALL
NEYMAR TOOK AN L
I LIKE BARCELONA NEYMAR
NEYMAR CRIES TOO MUCH
NEYMAR IS A BOTTLER
ANYBODY ELSE > NEYMAR
YEAH YEAH WE KNOW...
They’re tryna downplay us being happy about keeping a genuine world class forward. You guys keep tracking Sancho’s planes and stalking his barber, we’re good.
