NEWS: This morning, soldiers on exercise from @17_RLC saved the life of a man overboard in water off the Scottish coast. Responding to a mayday call, the boat’s crew searched the water and found him. They gave him first aid before he was winched to hospital by the coastguard.

The CO formally congratulated WO2 Roberts on selection for promotion to WO1 and to SSgts Drummond, Mcmenemy, Taylor (RLC) and Taylor (REME) on selection for promotion to WO2. SSgts Beaney, Butler, Du Preez and Witts were unfortunately not available but were there in spirit.

Commando Speed March 2023 Members of 17 Regiment RLC had a fantastic performance today taking part in the annual Commando Speed March. The speed March consists of a 6.7 mile race carrying 16.5kg which follows the original route from Spean Bridge to Achnacarry House. #104bde
