Ok, I am seeing a lot of tweets about people not being proud about the way the Seahawks played in the second with no Russell Wilson and no Chris Carson today. The team might be 2-4 but if they went 0-17 I'd still proudly call myself a 12.
For the record, if Drew Lock or Geno Smith totally goes off this year, we are all for it. We don't care which one. We just want the Seahawks to win...every game...ever.
Darrell Taylor has been BY FAR the best pass rusher the Seahawks have had in 2021. Let's hope he is OK but more as a human being than a football player.
Seriously. If defensive staff changes aren’t made immediately after this game after several years of watching this crap then Carroll should be on the hot seat.
I am usually "not that guy" but the refs have made three EXTREMELY bad calls against Seahawks in the first half - Wilson on the first drive, the non-recovery by Taylor on the Packers fumble, the "hold" by Lewis on the last drive - that seem intentionally called.
From NFL Now: The
#Seahawks
are open to making Jamal Adams the highest-paid safety in the NFL, per colleague
@MikeGarafolo
, though sounds like they'd like to keep Bobby Wagner as the highest-paid defensive player. There is a sweet spot there for a deal.
Marshawn Lynch and the
#Seahawks
are open to a reunion, and Lynch has told people he plans to travel to Seattle today to discuss it, sources tell me,
@MikeGarafolo
and
@TomPelissero
.
#BeastMode
could be back in Seattle.
Two things are possible with the
#Seahawks
with the Witherspoon: 1) They have another CB in mind not currently on the roster they are going to sign/trade for, 2) They have a maddening love for Tre Flowers.
I'll say this, what I saw from the Raiders defense last night - however vanilla - made me wish Gus Bradley was back as the Seahawks defensive coordinator.
Rams and nine-time All-Pro LB Bobby Wagner mutually agreed Thursday to part ways, sources tells ESPN.
Rams needs more cap space and Wagner wants to win. He will now be a notable part of this year’s free-agent class.
