I just want to say that anyone complaining about Master Chief being out of his suit in Season 2 a lot is just complaining for the sake of it. It does not make sense for him to be in the suit 24/7 on Reach, he's in a civilian setting.
To those of you talking about the context provided in the show. Not my point. I don't care about the terrible story and whatever lame excuse they make for him not wearing his armour, I don't like how the writers go out of their way to write scenes involving chief without it.

Not trying to defend the show but is this really an accurate comparison? In Reach we were just yeeted out of space, from one battle into another one already happening. I admittedly don't know the context of the battle in the show because I ain't subscribing to Paramount+
@LambentPhoenix
Don't really care if its accurate or not I assure you they purposefully wrote a scenario where chief wouldn't have his armour for the fighting, and that's stupid. It's a military universe, its cool to see the military aspect with cool armour and gadgets
@z3n_y
Noble 6 dropped out of orbit from a combat operation into a contested city where A BATTLE WAS BEING WAGED IN THE MIDST OF A MASS CIVILIAN EVACUATION. In the show Master Chief was off duty (Silver Team was on suspension), and then Ackerson took the armor (very on brand for him).
@z3n_y
Then every Spartans on Arcadia shouldn't have worn their armor right?
There's a difference between a military facility and a 'civilian' area which is under Covenant threat
@z3n_y
As someone who heavily dislikes the show, those are two completely different and non-comparable scenarios based on my understanding of what happens in the most recent episode. If you're going to make complaints, make them good
@z3n_y
Im not surprised by Ackerson’s actions but in the books Ackerson would literally do anything to kill Chief, during a training routine he ordered usage of a squad of ODST’s, anti tank mines, machine guns and missiles to try to kill him purposefully
@z3n_y
You ever think that maybe this isn't the same John 117 from the games and is instead one that exists in a fracture timeline where things are drastically different than the main timeline. This is a Master Chief that 343 wants to humanize.
