I can't see how it's in any way tenable for Karen Hayes to keep her job as CEO of Guide Dogs Vic. It's such a huge lapse in judgement. What other really poor decisions has she made or is she making?

@yodaberg The board must and should be furious. And after the government has been so vocal about activist charities, too. Hugely damaging and raises questions about her judgement but also Frydenberg’s

@MargaretSimons @engagedpractx just told me the board issued a statement saying they didn't know. I haven't seen it yet, just hunting. So appalling.

@yodaberg From my understanding if she keeps her job they risk losing their charitable status, which seems pretty cut and dried?

@GidMK I've heard yes and I've heard no. But honestly... the CEO of an organisation like that has to show good judgement. She clearly has none.

@yodaberg Immediate exit. Her job is to serve the organisation. Pure and simple This does nothing but harm it now and in the future She’s gone by the end of this week

@yodaberg Being paid 250k a year is bad decision by the board that's running a charity if what I've seen is correct when it comes to her salary.

@yodaberg Questions also need to be asked of Cate Sayers who also appears on Josh Frydenberg's literature in her role as founder of the Inclusion Foundation. It appears to be a wonderful and very worthy charity but is not acting in an apolitical way...

@yodaberg I can't quite imagine Ms Hayes woke up one morning and thought to herself, "I think I should endorse Josh." Someone would have encouraged her to this epiphany.

@yodaberg It’s not just the CEO, the board wasn’t on top of this and should resign.
