This was all so preventable. Those with lived experience have told us what they need, and destroying their belongings certainly isn't it. The City and the State have the resources to house, feed and treat all the people living at Mass and Cass. Why haven't we?
MAAP staff, organizers & concerned press are now standing in front of a community members tent as a city of Boston public works excavator is taking down tents feet from where he’s being evicted from. This is reckless & potentially deadly intimidation.

As an outreach worker, working in New Market with our unhoused neighbors, I know the city is NOT doing as promised. People have frostbite, survival gear destroyed, searching through trash for ID's, arrested in line for medication, DISGUSTING.
