Got several nice notes from folks who enjoyed CalSpeed which is very kind. Glad some of you like it. The core idea of the arcade team to push Crusin' style gameplay into wacky tracks was solid.
As always the harshest critics of any game, are the people who worked on them.

I remember making the golf cart. I did all the coin-op conversions of all the vehicles, and ~1/3 of the tracks.

as someone with an N64, you didn't have any competition, so you get on the top 100 just by not being Quest 64 or a bad licensed game

Didn't play this game growing up, but the name Midway Games brings back a lot of memories. Specifically Wipeout 64 above all else.

I remember as a kid ignoring this game from rentals every time I see it, bec of how basic the cover was
For me as a kid, covers reflected the work they put into the game
Ofc over time I learned of the bad west covers vs jpn or EU
