Exchanges issuing their own token: 🚩 Red flag. Allows them to manipulate reserves, use the token (created out of thin air) as collateral to borrow and fund operations and more, and... Fill (on paper, balance sheet) holes from hacks they never made public. Be safe out there!!

I just joined @JoelKatz and @alloynetworks in voting for lower XRP Ledger reserves. Instead of an account reserve of 20 XRP, my validator is now votes for 10 XRP. Instead of an owner reserve of 5 XRP (Trust Lines, Escrows, Offers, ...) my validator is now voting for 2 XRP.

The public XRP Ledger nodes by @Ripple @RippleXDev , "s1" and "s2" (full history) are out of sync. with the XRP Ledger for over 5 hours now. This results in apps using these services (like our own @XummWallet xApps (if is too busy) not functioning well.

An explainer 🧵 on the recent finding that a simple 'flag' (setting) on minted NFT's can be abused, causing NFT issuers to get all their XRP locked up due to actions of third parties. Because of this finding, I have removed the "yay" vote of the @XRPLLabs validator. Temporarily.

Couple of all-nighters in the datacenter Replacing an entire generation of XRPL Full History servers, running on 8x SAS (12G) SSD drives of 3.84TB. That's the max. amount of disks (8 drive bays), resulting in 28TB usable storage (Raid 0). Guess what? XRPL FH is now 28TB.
