Me working in an MNC that I love but
@ParallelTCG
still in my mind. Here is why. Fortune 500 by the way.
I love how MNC gives the euphoria and ideal environment to the new generation, and they get the free illusion of freedom 👀
Here is what happened to me:
1) December I was offered a job which has 1.5x of my basic pay and it was a company that even my parents vouched for it. Believing that it would give me lifetime wealth. So I thought it would be a no brainer that I join them. 🤔
2) The orientation was fantastic, they spoon fed us with a lot of the procedures to do and also were very helpful and welcoming. 🎉 On top of that they did 4 different celebration for Christmas events so I didn't have to work much. I even got to go back early from work.
3) I thought to myself, what a fantastic job to do (work life balance), finish things early packup and go. However, reality kicks in in January. That's where all shit gets real.
4) These are the few things that hit me on Jan
- 10 hours credit hours for training due at the end of each week
-2 short daily reporting, 1 long report to do everyweek, 2 long report every month
- 3 daily meetings to be completed with people at different timezones
Continuation
- Daily physical meet in office with team to improve simulation data
-5 incomplete work / project items from previous engineer that is also due this month
- the handover engineer only have 3 weeks to handover
- the handover engineer only started for a month
6) I'm lucky have 2 good buddies of mine always keep me in check, asking if my boss treat me well. However in fact I know they just wanna see success in the things that I pour my sweat in.
So I've made up my resolutions to grow in this space and never give up. Would like to have special thanks to:
@ParallelTCG
@PlayMightyHero
@TheWardensGC
for being there and all the people who followed me.
Special thanks to my real life brother and friend
