Impacts from SSW should translate to surface weather over the next several weeks, but just how that manifests itself is still, unsurprisingly, not clear cut

It was very frosty and crisp this morning when I went out for run this morning here in Kernow. Took it steady as there was plenty of black ice about. I love running in this colder weather but likewise I’m looking forward to a milder week....hopefully!

GFS 12z run looks proper winter soon but ECM going less cold. I hope I see some snow as had nothing in Suffolk yet. U sound hopeful of cold after this milder spell

I have a feeling it be cold vs mild for a while, some days be mild while others be colder, which airmass eventually wins is another matter 🤣
