Welsh rugby fans, imagine the WRU scrapped:
Scarlets, Ospreys, Cardiff & Dragons
& their age grade teams. So no regionals for our boys
& our Wales u20s & u18s team. So no int. fixtures for our boys
This is what they’ve done to the women’s game!
Bristol Bears full-back Kayleigh Powell and Gloucester-Hartpury second row forward Sisilia Tuipulotu have signed Wales Women retainer contracts and joined the performance programme
We're fortunate to be able to attend most womens internationals in Wales (and often further afield). However not everyone has this option. Really hope

reconsider their decision not to broadcast/stream games
Wales Women will take on Japan, South Africa and Canada in a series which kicks off the countdown to next year’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
- The matches will all take place at Cardiff Arms Park – Wales Women’s home ground for the season
WRU: Wales Women players have issued a call to arms this week, to encourage fans to turn up and cheer them on as they take on Ireland in the TikTok Women’s Six Nations Championship 2023 opener, and first home match, at Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday 25th March.
Really don't know why the WRU needs to shroud the women's fixtures in so much secrecy?
Why are the WRU frightened of advertising the women's game?
Is there a danger that people might actually be interested in watching or knowing results?
The responses to the BBC story on the latest WRU scandal are the most disturbing thing. "Men" publicly stating that this is perfectly acceptable behaviour 😞

The IRFU, WRU and Scottish Rugby have created a pilot Celtic Challenge competition, supported by World Rugby, to provide a high-performance tournament window ahead of the 2023 TikTok Six Nations.
Rumoured announcements aside, there really needs to be more done to promote the game in between junior hubs and the senior national team. The U18s deserve their fanfare and moment in the spotlight ✨️
WRU Women’s competitions
