That's funny, because everybody blames Sebastian Vettel for not have won the championship with Ferrari, but nobody blames Fernando Alonso, Nigel Mansell or Alain Prost for having fail to win a title in red.
Not a criticism against Alonso, Prost or Mansell, I don't blame them. We know that how it's hard to win a title with Ferrari. But if you blame Vettel, blame everybody who have failed too.
@vettelhistory
It took a a driver of Schumacher's caliber 4 yrs for to build up & win a constructors title for Ferrari which later dominated the early 2000's
Schumacher's built different
@AFer300
Fernando had the most reliable car at the front during those years. And would never fought until the end for the championship in 2012 if RB's & McLaren's had a decent reliability.
@vettelhistory
Vettel and Ferrari was not a match from day 1. The environment of Ferrari is not a warm bath that Vettel needs. He was really at home at Red Bull. At Ferrari he was at its best a guest.
@NanoPutas
Obviously, it's Vettel's fault if his car wasn't reliable in 2017, and if Ferrari failed the car development in 2018. Alonso, at least, had reliable machinery (more than RB's and McLaren's).
@vettelhistory
They say Vettel didn't get close enough when ๐ธ๐ฌ is the reason the title didn't reach a final day.
The point swing of Seb winning and Lewis P5 to seb DNF and Lewis win was 40+ points.
Losing the title in a slower car while performing better over the year isn't enough apparently
@vettelhistory
It always makes me chuckle when fans raise up Alonso for 2010 and 12 vs a much faster Red Bull, but discredit Lewis for being their too in a car behind the Ferrari. Alonso, Lewis, Seb, Max all deserve more credit than they get from various fan bases. Their all great
@vettelhistory
A true Ferrari fan knows that what you say is true. I don't care about the ridiculous rivalry between Seb and Fernando fans , I just regret that in those years the Scuderia playing defensively and making mistakes wasn't up to the competition as usual.
@vettelhistory
Fernando did the most brilliant job in a sub par car. Prost nearly beat Ayrton. Vettel just screwed up just after they invested 100M euros extra to get back to the top.
@vettelhistory
Alonso had the only real chance in 2012. Ruined by Grosjean at Spa. Only reason that Vettel escaped that accident is that he was starting 6 slots behind Alonso. That race was probably worth the 3 points he lost the WDC by.

@Jege78
Ne sachant quโil se battait contre le duo pilote ecurie le plus rรฉgulier de lโhistoire sans jamais avoir rรฉellement la voiture
@vettelhistory
I think that Vettel and Fernando situation are not so comparable, it's true that in both cases Ferrari screw it up but Fernando did everything in his hand for winning the tittle but Vettel sometimes didn't take advantage of his car, vettel had a better car than Fernando
