What about a 1v1 game mode? There are already thousands of players that 1v1 daily. I'm sure others would like to try it, but looking for 1v1s is too complicated & time-intensive for many. A 1v1 game mode is almost guaranteed to solve this and be a huge success if done right. π

Iβve never taken part in a 1v1 in dbd so this is a genuine question how do they work? Like whatβs the rules behind a 1v1? And also how do you think they could implement such a mode cause it does sound interesting even for a person whoβs never 1v1βd in dbd
@v1rtualblight
How would this work? Survive for five minutes and you win? Because 1v1 would not allow the survivor to do gens. Also, just being tunneled for five minutes is no fun, itβs my daily playtime. Iβd much rather avoid 1v1.

99.999999999% of players doesnt care at all
Because all "competitive" like modes is a joke like 1v1, what would it prove? That you run from pallet to pallet better?
@v1rtualblight
I'd honestly love that, I'm a bit to lazy to look for 1v1s myself, especially ones that won't absolutely destroy me/get destroyed by me. If they make "official" 1v1s they could match you up with similarly skilled oponents.
@v1rtualblight
There is no way to do a 1v1 gamemode right, the majority of the playerbase would have 0 clur what they are doing and would use something like 3 blink nurse or alca ring Blight, on pen and paper AS COMP PLAYERS the gamemode sounds exciting but that's literally only for us
@v1rtualblight
Canβt you 1 vs 1 in a custom game right now? It trolling but what would your ideal 1v1 do, match you with a random and time how long it takes to down you? Then what?
@v1rtualblight
this will not appear to majority of dbd's playerbase, whilst i do love the idea of having official 1v1's, there's just no comprehensive way of implementing it for new players.
maybe if they started with a ranked mode/strictly high mmr accurate queue, then we could later on.
