In Estes Park, CO, the 70-ft-high Olympus Dam sits on the Big Thompson River, creating Lake Estes. Some water exits the lake through the gates and enters the Big Thompson River below. Most water enters the Olympus Siphon, eventually flowing to Carter Lake & Horsetooth Reservoirs.

🌊 #WaterSafety 🌊 As the weather heats up remember canals are not for play. The water runs fast, cold and deep. Keep your family safe by staying away.

🐟🐟🐟Here fishy fishy... Last week marked the opening day for fly-fishing on a section of Trinity River, 250 feet downstream of Lewiston Dam in CA.* What a wonderful recreational activity to welcome the warmer weather. ☀️ *Only artificial flies with barbless hooks may be used.
