Rather quietly, Eastern Orthodoxy in Africa is slowly growing especially in Uganda. Definitive numbers are difficult to measure, but it is estimated that Africa is rivaling America in number of total converts.

Uganda is especially interesting because there are three bishops there, all native Africans. It's a sign that the faith is reaching maturity there.

In Kenya they have parishes where hundreds regularly attend liturgy in the open air, no church building at all. I've seen video of their pascha, they processed the streets for 4 miles before they arrived at church to celebrate pascha. Americans would never do that. 🤣

When the judgment of the world takes place there will be many surprises. Europe as well as America who knew the word of truth very early and today deny it will see the entrance to the Kingdom closed while Africa will show great spiritual statures.

Praise God. I used to live in Uganda for a while and it struck me as one of the biggest problems that they are very divided in confession, and preyed upon by charismatic cults.
The Ugandan nation is among the most kind-hearted and humorous I have encountered

It's astonishing how Christ conquers all areas of the world.
He lives! Before Christ, man made his own god. Now God is revealed, and tramples down all lies. Glory to the one and only living God.
