Flabbergasted with Struijk's red being upheld. Harvey Elliott himself said it was a 'freak accident' & wrong the appeal wasn't successful. We all wish Harvey the best with his recovery but red cards can't be dished out for the severity of an accident surely???

I made this point about the Luiz/Jimanez incident a few years back that nearly ended his career, Luiz wasn't even carded, and rightly so, because it was a freak accident
@tonydorigo
Yet, Pickford couldn’t be retrospectively punished for his reckless lunge on VVD. There is no consistency with referees or our FA. Look at both Tarkowski’s & Brown hill’s tackled on Richarlison during the Everton Burnley game. Both ticked all the boxes for a card, but no injury!
@tonydorigo
If that's rule, then its a free for all as long as the player isn't injured. Taking to its logical.conclusion, this will encourage worse tackling as you only get a red based on the injury and more diving as players feign injury to get players carded. What a mess
@tonydorigo
It’s proof of the favouritism given to the top six clubs. When you look at the tackles that went unpunished in the games that have followed since, it really rubs salt into the wound. Feel so sorry for Pascal and Harvey, hope he makes a full recovery.
@tonydorigo
Can you see a scenario where say one of the weaker players in the team is told to feign bad injury and should be stretchered off in the instance of a similarly robust but fair challenge in an important game to gain advantage by getting the opposition player sent off?
@tonydorigo
Come on Tony. You’ve been around Leeds United long enough to know the contempt and hatred the football authorities have for our club. They reprimand us whenever they can. Corruption at the highest level as they cover up the incompetent & weak referees and biased VAR system

@tonydorigo
I said it earlier that the FA are setting a very dangerous precedent here. No fowl was committed. It was an accidental coming together. If that’s the case then any player that injures another by accidentally bumping or becoming tangled will need to be sent off which is wrong.
@tonydorigo
If not for Klopp and his entourage, entering the field of play, the game would have carried on until the ref stopped the game or the ball kicked out of play as the ref did not deem it to be a foul having waved play on
