@tonydorigo If that's rule, then its a free for all as long as the player isn't injured. Taking to its logical.conclusion, this will encourage worse tackling as you only get a red based on the injury and more diving as players feign injury to get players carded. What a mess

@tonydorigo Can you see a scenario where say one of the weaker players in the team is told to feign bad injury and should be stretchered off in the instance of a similarly robust but fair challenge in an important game to gain advantage by getting the opposition player sent off?

@tonydorigo I said it earlier that the FA are setting a very dangerous precedent here. No fowl was committed. It was an accidental coming together. If that’s the case then any player that injures another by accidentally bumping or becoming tangled will need to be sent off which is wrong.
