@time4kind How awful for you, he and your family. Very sad. My mom was stolen to a residential school. After attended nursing school. She was a bear about making sure we were vaccinated. Me & bro barely avoided polio! Many did not. Paid a heavy price; families were wiped out. Vaccines save!

@time4kind My twin and me had measles as babies. We both didn't develop enamel on our adult teeth

@time4kind @TeresaGoodpast1 The same thing happened to my Aunt. She had measles while pregnant and her child was born mentally and physically disabled.

@time4kind @LaPaturette I am so sorry for your loss. Vaccines are critical! My mother’s best friend exposed her to the measles in 1962 when she was pregnant with my sister. My sister could walk and speak a few words but never progressed past about 18 months mentally and died at 21 during a seizure.

@time4kind @lonestarmoocher So sad. My aunt was pregnant with measles, the doctors recommended an abortion. She declined. My cousin had a sad and painful life ending enduring many health obstacles including blindness and an inability to communicate or eat with an early death. #Getvaccinated

@etfred24 @lonestarmoocher I think too many people think it's just a rash .. which it can be .. and it can wreck a whole life & the surrounding lives.

@time4kind Know a woman whose mom had “mild” measles while pregnant. The woman was totally blind from birth.

@time4kind I had an uncle born with a severe malformed heart due to my grandma having very mild German Measles (rubella) when she was barely pregnant. He was extremely sickly his entire life, spent his youth in a wagon being pulled around by my mom. He died at 38. I barely remember him.
