As an old ICU nurse we cared for women as they died of blood loss and sepsis. Always leaving other children behind.

Women before Roe v Wade often used a coat hangar or a knitting needle to stab and stab themselves to cause aborting. (My friend used a knitting needle and came very close to death from the gruesome bleeding.)

As I recall, the most fervent advocates for abortion were ER doctors who had treated so many woman for injuries due to self administered abortions or botched back alley abortions.
We truly don't want to go back.

That doesn't even count all the women like my friend who will never go to a doctor. She would have been disowned by her family.

This is exactly what my mom used to say! She was always so open about everything she even helped many of my friends that their parents would not approve! What a women she was she would be crying today with just the thought of all of it!
