Richard Feynman sometimes used to practice for five hours in an empty classroom before delivering his lecture. It's true that when passion and hard work combine, it's a masterpiece.

@thePiggsBoson It takes time to make those neuronal connections.. and that's biology not physics. Btw I wish we knew more about the physics & chemistry that drives biology.. what happens at the atomic & subatomic level to create complex biological systems such as life & consciousness!

@thePiggsBoson Important observation! I went to see Return to Forever back in the day. Before the concert, I faintly heard someone practicing piano figures backstage. Then the show began and I heard Chick Corea play that same phrase in the 'Senor Mouse' opening. I had been hearing him practice!

@thePiggsBoson That's what Mr. Lewin said in a podcast, he also worked for hours before delivering his famous lectures. Whatever the field be, you have to practice to be the best.

@thePiggsBoson "As a matter of fact, I love to teach. I like to think of new ways of looking at things as I explain them, to make them clearer โ€” but maybe Iโ€™m not making them clearer. Probably what Iโ€™m doing is entertaining myself." [Richard Feynman via @Robot_Feynman ]

@thePiggsBoson I am blown away that he replied to my letter about the geometry that currently is being used as a โ€œtoyโ€. He was a great person.

@thePiggsBoson Professors can't practice like that these days. Instead, they're driving Uber to make ends meet.
