Exciting news! As the Tangle Network mainnet launch approaches on April 10, the team is pleased to share their token allocation recommendation.

This allocation is strategically designed to support the network's growth, encourage community engagement, and reward key contributors. Here are the specifics:

A total of 51% of the tokens will be allocated to token-holder governed entities, including 35% to the on-chain treasury and 15% to the Tangle Foundation, promoting community-driven governance and providing resources for future expansion.

To build a robust and engaged community from the outset, airdrops will be extended to several groups:

Participants of the @EdgewareDAO genesis and recent snapshot holders will receive an airdrop in appreciation of their early support and the grant given to Webb to facilitate Tangle's launch. It is hoped they will continue to support this venture.

@Polkadot validators are also included in the airdrop to acknowledge their expertise and potential contribution to Tangle's validator set, MPC, and ZK services. Their validation efforts on Tangle are highly anticipated.

Contributors, encompassing the core team, investors, and advisors, will be allocated 45% of the tokens, with vesting schedules in place to ensure their long-term engagement.
