@sqanews Why are you still pretending any of this is going to happen?

@sqanews @Trinityrenfrew So in the meantime we have children coping with remote learning as best they can. With added pressure of revising for prelims which nobody knows when they are going to happen if at all. Children are again being kept in limbo many already suffering as it is, some clarity please.

@sqanews This makes total sense. A creeping dread has been setting in about how we are going to conduct some reliable assessment after the pupils come back and before the end of term. This means even if we’re remote teaching until end of March we have time after.

@sqanews If we’re remote teaching until March, and we’d expected to gather robust evidence (I.e exam conditions in class testing) before the end of May, pupils would basically becoming back to a diet of exams.

@sqanews Did anybody tell the SQA we are in a pandemic and we have no idea when schools will return?

@sqanews Does this mean the tradition of students moving up a year in may/June is put on hold with an expectation that the S5/6 will remain in school beyond the normal departure in April to sit exams?
