Similar thing happened to me years ago when I decided to draw up a G2 style Princess Celestia. It was only a few rude comments from bronies, so it wasn't that bad but still idk why these folks are so negative when it comes to the G2 style, I think it's cute.

i’ve had people do this to me where they’re like “this art makes me sad and angry. not because the art is bad it’s good art. i just HATE the subject matter” and i just sit there like. okay? um. sorry? 😭
