i keep seeing the sentence thrown around when autistics talk abt the hostile job market, and while i know u mean well and is right! i also know that allistics can create the strangest loopholes to escape having to employ an autistic person lmao!

i kept being turned down office jobs last year despite my prev work experience bc i’m autistic! when i mentioned it in interviews, you could SEE the expression shift and lack of phone calls :’)
when i finally did get an internship, i was the fastest motherfucker in the office!

Yeah, I just turned 16 and I'm scared of doing job interviews for this reason. Employers will find some way to not hire autistic people and that scares me.
