@soledadobrien @axios This is why I have unfollowed so many news feeds. Putting Dingells reply to the barbaric rhetoric and lies of Trump on the same level is almost as vile as Trump's comment. Even reporting isn't acting as if both sides of a topic have equal weight. This isn't the WWE.

@astrachanideas @axios It’s framed around a state of mind that says for every thing one ‘side’ does the other ‘sides’’ reaction needs to be framed as equal. IE: “both sides”. So yes, obviously sloppy and lame. But it’s due to the ‘both sides’ mindset.

@soledadobrien @axios Almost nothing is simply a “comment on,” or “response to.” The preference seems to be for more hyperbolic and bellicose terms like, “rips,” “blasts,” or “hits back.” And while I’m here - someone seriously needs to speak with editors about what constitutes “speaking out.”
