Gov. Beshear didn’t go to the Derby to present the trophy because he said if other Kentuckians were watching from home he should too. If he’d gone people would be endlessly screaming he’s a tyrant so I thought it was worth acknowledging he did the right thing

@snicklefritz35 Deener and @UofLSheriff50 already called him out about not going. Pretty much called him a gutless puke.

@ahowe40204 @UofLSheriff50 I’m not sure why walking the talk is gutless but different strokes 🤷🏻‍♀️

@snicklefritz35 It would have been in poor form had he been there. It was the right call.

@snicklefritz35 I don’t know man, I watched from home. But I’m not an elected official who’s supposed to be a representative of the state. I’d be mad if he went there with family and friends and partied all day. I wouldn’t be mad if he came out and presented a trophy.

@snicklefritz35 Doesn’t fully make sense since he’s been to travel baseball games. Just for media sake I guess.

@snicklefritz35 He should go to continue his big business support. It's obvious he wanted small business dead. He's being pretty successful.

@snicklefritz35 I thought the Governor did the right thing to watch the Derby from home also. He’s constantly trying to set an example by doing the right thing and Republicans can’t wait to find something to criticize him for. He’s a very good, responsible governor!

@snicklefritz35 I really didn't care if he was on or not. It is not about him anyway. He had no right to cut tickets from 18,000 to 12 ,000 waiting till a week before the season.
