@smithbarryc Yes, that is the part that hurts the most. To see the progress made during the 66 years I’ve been around go into reverse. And those far off sounds, suddenly very present, sound like the rise of Fascism in the 1930s.

@smithbarryc Science cannot be the answer. "Thinking", in the sense of Hannah Arendt, might be a better way to sweep away ignorance .
