I’ve been to the US Capital. Monuments to Confederates & slaveholders r massive in that joint. Bernie’s been a Senator for 30 yrs. Why didn’t he introduce legislation to remove them years ago? You know, like Cory Booker & Barbara Lee did in 2017.

What's his stance on reparations for the descendants of the unpaid enslaved whose centuries of labor continues to go uncompensated. Some say they'd just spend/waste it. Who do they think has that money now? It didn't disappear. Descendants are less worthy stewards of their own $?
