I feel like it would be a lose-lose situation for SEGA.
If they didn't announce anything, fans would still be clamoring for news. But if they did announce it too early, sure fans will be occupied for a little, but then they'll get impatient and say "they didn't show enough"

What's that? Sonic fans view Sonic in a bubble because a good chunk of them grew up when they did yearly releases, which is not a common, or good practice in the video game industry, so now they bitch when a new Sonic game isn't fed to them on the yearly? Shame

The Sonic Origins thing is so weird. That could’ve dropped that day and I don’t think it would be that shocking, but we’re going on a year now lol
@shadow7591
I'm actually more concerned about this happening to Origins than with Frontiers.
Why is there so little lack of news for a compilation? I know these games have been re-released before, but they still should've provided some gameplay at this point.
@shadow7591
the annoying thing is when you say that they showed gameplay too early people be like "oh so the game wasn't at a presentable state then" and I'm like yes it wasn't then they'll like spaz out and say but company uvw showed gameplay of game xyz 2 years before release.
@shadow7591
Maybe after the 2nd movie is done, all the hype from that is finished and all, then they could talk about it? If they're waiting for that, idk. Maybe that's the main reason why we haven't gotten any news of Origins.
