This is me choking up at the end of my speech during the groundbreaking for the new Norwalk High School. I got emotional because 3 seniors spoke before me about how happy they are for the new school and the opportunities their peers will have who will follow them. Bright future!

Norwalk high school got 80% state funding. Danbury got 80% state funding for school buildings project. Wilton covered 80% of the cost for its new elementary school. Danbury & Norwalk get more per student funding from state than surrounding towns. Yet we are the resource hoarders
