Majority of the series revolved the pledge Naruto had made to bring Sasuke back to the village. The series concluding with Sasuke admitting defeat and Naruto returning a forehead protector, something that represents shinobi, that Sasuke dropped years ago marked a perfect ending
Sasuke’s attempt to go rogue begun when he left the village in front of the person he loved the most. Though the first time ended in her crying, it didn’t go the same way the second time, this time he left with good intentions, to begin his atonement and end his rogue era
The sinister Orochimaru gave up on his ambitions simply to observe the way Sasuke chooses to live his life. In the end Sasuke came to share the same ideals as Jiraiya, the friend that Orochimaru had abandoned for own gains, and even someone as evil as Oro realized his wrongdoing
After finding out Itachi’s truth, Sasuke was set onto finding out the purpose of a Hokage, and what the village meant to them. In the end he restored the very vision of the first Hokage, which was a collaboration between the Hokage and the Uchiha
In the midst of this chaos, Sasuke also managed to achieve his childhood dream even when all odds were against him. He was regarded as a one man police force by Naruto and Sakura, and later was even put in charge of more police like duties such as investigation and interrogation
He managed to come back stronger from all the bonds he had severed. This proved his genuine loyalty towards the village rather than just him doing a favor for a friend, and also why his atonement was a big success
While it adds way more depth to his character, Sasuke’s interactions with anyone apart from Naruto are taken for granted
Here’s a thread of the relations Sasuke fixed following his journey of atonement
In the end it all came full circle. Sasuke went from someone who lost everything to someone who built everything back from ground up. He found love again, and got to marry the person he loved the most. After ages he was HAPPY, to say the least
Even if Sasuke does die, his will will always live on in the Naruto/Boruto verse. Something to proud of, after all not everyone possesses the means of passing stuff down to the next generation
