I remember this. I hated her for trying to manipulate Naruto like that. I’m glad he saw through her lies

yeah ngl I always saw their relationship as more of like a pseudo brother-sister bond rather than any actual hints towards romantic affection
even naruto at the end realized he never truly liked her in that way, he was just bent on never losing to sasuke in anything
