Little known fact, @bchesky helped me negotiate my early Ubercab equity. There were a lot of early transitions for me in the first year or so, from GM, to CEO, back to VP Ops, and there was a debate about if I should get the founder title & what my equity should be in each role

Brian pushed me to not focus on the founder concept but to focus on ownership, and equity. I really was in over my head and his council around what to prioritize, how to communicate it, and what really mattered in the long run (ownership, experience, etc) was invaluable.
