Brian pushed me to not focus on the founder concept but to focus on ownership, and equity. I really was in over my head and his council around what to prioritize, how to communicate it, and what really mattered in the long run (ownership, experience, etc) was invaluable.

Little known fact,

helped me negotiate my early Ubercab equity. There were a lot of early transitions for me in the first year or so, from GM, to CEO, back to VP Ops, and there was a debate about if I should get the founder title & what my equity should be in each role
