Such a proud parent tonight ❤️ Our boy went away for the first time ever away from us to go camping with his scouts group, weather been terrible but he managed to sleep on an airbed but he's knackered so need to go collect him. Never thought he'd last 1 night so very proud ❤️❤️

That's Ethan out of surgery, everything went well, a lot worse than the surgeon thought, it was almost inoperable and the operation should've been done a long long time ago but he's done well. Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers 🙏🏼 long recovery ahead 💓 #duchenne

Just went to see Ethan, he's still got breathing tubes and stuff all in but they said he had a great night and slept well. He heard mine and Kelly's voice and woke up a bit, he tried to smile and then tried to do a wee dance 😂

I know I've been a soppy dad over the last few weeks with Ethan's operation and stuff but these nurses all deserve a massive well done for the job they do everyday, look at the joy last week on their faces to see Ethan going home better ❤️ @echcharity #NHS

Ethan just needs a break 🤬 There's fluid coming from his wound and the hospital have tried lots of different bandages and they even put a special suction bandage on today but nothing seems to be working 😢 He's taking everything in his stride, so proud of him ❤️💪🏼 #duchenne #NHS

Today we travelled through to Pittencrieff Play park because we've heard it had a wheelchair accessible playground. Look at the joy on my son's face because he could get on a swing ❤️ But @NicolaSturgeon @scotgov why do we not have these in Glasgow? #Disability #Glasgow

Ethan update.... He's doing well, moved out of critical care today to a ward, started eating a bit of food, small small bit but a start. Got a portable dvd player for his bed so he's more normal tonight, he was getting depressed laying on his back looking at the ceiling. ❤️🙏🏼

We want to go home! Day 16 at the hospital and Ethan is still smiling even after the disappointment of not getting home today that we'd hoped for. We were told it would be around 10 days we'd be in post op but hopefully only 1 more day to go...🤞🏼🙏🏼 #duchenne #spinal

@HereCelts He's gave everything for the jersey and I feel sorry for him at times with the moaning about his speed of passing (relevant too) doesn't help the boys confidence. Teams have targeted our left side of defence because of this. We clearly need better than him but he's done well imo.

Been a crap day today. Started this morning feeling optimistic that Ethan's spinal surgery would go ahead and then to be told they've had to cancel it due to the lack of ICU beds was disappointing. Hopefully it will get done in a few weeks but not sure yet. 😔 #duchenne

@_carson_72 Going for 10iar for the 2nd time in our history. Unfortunately, never managed to get it, but the only team to do 9iar twice and a quadruple treble. Rangers died like Gretna and airdrie, so they never managed that 55, Sevco have 1, that's what happened

We were hoping Ethan would be getting home today but his wound is still seeping from 1 tiny bit and we have to wait on results back from a swap on it to make sure there's no infection 😞 He's so upset but he understands why he needs to stay longer. Dr has been nice with him ❤️
