100% with Arj Barker in this. The relatives wailing that the baby depends on the mother to be alive, all the mother wanted was a night out etc, are typical irrational drama queens thinking they’re the centre of the universe. Keep babies at home. They don’t belong at the theatre.
A breastfeeding mother has been kicked out of a Melbourne comedy show after prolific comedian Arj Barker claimed it was “ruining his train of thought”. >

I spoke with
@ellenmahoney_
who was at the Arj Barker show, this was what she had to say.
The staff didn't seem to mind. But this was handled very poorly and I say unprofessionally

as a single parent .... i gotta agree. when bubs is young enough to be drinking milk instead of eating food they are a bit too fragile for public outings. imagine if this mother sat next to someone who had the flu, or gastro, and bubs caught it - whose fault would that be?
@roseg
The headline makes it seem that she was kicked out for breastfeeding.
It’s not really a story at all, you don’t get to spoil other people’s night out.
@roseg
I always found that if folks know the rules to begin with there's hardly ever a problem. But it's a good publicity stunt... I'd never heard of him.... Arj who?
@roseg
Don’t have to be ‘with’ anyone. While I agree with you, everyone makes mistakes. We are always given something to divide us - let’s just say “no issue” and move on while ignoring the drama.
@roseg
Agree with you. It's staggering these days I see people bringing newborns to major sporting events, shows, loud pubs with live music all to appear "I'm the cool new parent who doesn't let my baby hold me back" while pissing everyone off around them
@roseg
The title is so misleading when by all
Accounts it was the baby who was disruptive. Why take a baby to a shoe. It was cranky because it may be tired. For FS get a sitter!
