My wife used to watch both of these until I convinced her that 'Summer Bay' was the most 'violent' place on earth.

Some cultures believe that until you have a 1000 twitter followers, you do not truly have a soul.
Other cultures, like Australia, believe you should watch Neighbours or Home and Away because - to destroy evil, you must first understand it.

No! I haven't either! And pleased to say no survivor, no married anything, no block, no masterchef, no anything 'reality'. My blood pressure literally rises even if i accidentally come across an advert for the rubbish. Gross!

When I did my degree in 1980s my Major was mass communication as well as statistics and I did an essay on Neighbours. I had never watched it before but got addicted. Had to wean myself off over a couple of months. It was a terrible affliction. M

My parents wouldn't let us watch either, except for the wedding. We watched David Attenborough's 'Life on Earth' but dad had to chsnge the channel everytime a gazelle or wilderbeast was about to be caught by a predator. I still change the channel 40 yrs later π
