Yesterday we said our final goodbyes to"Mr. Rocester"Gilbert Egerton. Around 70 people paid their respects as Gilbert was driven through a guard of honour onto the pitch. Club officials both past and present gave Gilbert the best send off we could. Rest in Peace”Mr Rocester” 🖤💛

After accessing the club house last night we thankfully found the damage to be very minimal. The water on the pitch subsided well and only the corner by the turnstiles remains under water. After a lot of cleaning up and depending on the weather we’ll try to get Saturday on. 🤞🏼
